Filed the ficticious name filing. Just another "fee" or tax from the Government! But, I filed it. Next... Get a biz license... In time. We're not ready to open so , in time.
One thing, then the next. It all takes time, time, time!

Business Preparation- The Rooster Barn: A lot of Good Stuff!
Early in 2013, I bought a small building on Edgewood in Jacksonville, Florida for the treasures and varied items. It has taken a long time to figure what to call the store. After long last thought, I have settled on "The Rooster Barn". There are actually roosters (2) running free in the back yard!
Over the months after the purchase, several friends helped put items in the new store. The items were from my years of selling on eBay. The building is beginning to fill up with items and again, friends have helped put them on tables and organize them.
Today, I filled out the Filing for a name with the state of Florida- "The Rooster Barn". I bought the name on the internet and have set up this website.
Over the last months the building has been painted, the electrician called in to set up the lights. They work! And, minor repairs have begun for using the building.
In the near future a "use of building" permit will be filed and a financial plan will be set in place.
We'll see what's to come after that.
